Foxen Spikes the Redraw to Send Petrangelo Packing

Level 4 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Kristen Foxen
Kristen Foxen

Nick Petrangelo raised to 6,000 from late position, only to face a three-bet all-in from Kristen Foxen in the next seat to 81,000. Petrangelo double-checked the count and made the call, and it was he at risk.

Nick Petrangelo: 88 All in
Kristen Foxen: 99

Not the door card Foxen wanted to see on the 85Q flop, but when the dealer peeled off the 9 as the turn, she stormed back into the lead. No miracles for Petrangelo on the 5 river, and he was sent to the rail.

River Min-Click Gets Paid

Level 4 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Giuseppe Calio opened to 6,000 in middle position, and was called by Ryan Richardson in the hijack and Yang Zhou in the small blind.

The action checked to Richardson on the 4K10 flop, who bet 11,000. Zhou folded, but Calio called.

Both players then checked on the 6 turn, giving Calio the green light to retake the betting lead on the 6 river. He put 32,000 in the middle, which was immediately raised to 64,000 by Richardson.

A curious Calio called, but was shown bad news as Richardson tabled Q5 for a rivered flush.

Chris Hunichen
Chris Hunichen

Chris Hunichen raised to 7,000 in middle position, and Giuseppe Calio called in the big blind.

Hunichen fired out a bet of 8,000 when the flop came 973, and Calio decided to check-raise to 25,000; Hunichen called.

Calio did not slow down on the 10 turn, and he fired out a bet of 55,000; Hunichen called once more.

Calio, who covered Hunichen, went all in for 228,000 on the Q river; Hunichen went deep into the tank, and after using three time banks, he eventually made the call.

Calio tabled a straight with J8 to take the pot, and Hunichen showed his cracked KK.

Arrocha Takes Two

Level 4 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Mario Navarro Arrocha opened to 6,000 from cutoff and Dylan Linde defended the big blind.

The pair saw a 958 flop, and Linde check-called a 6,000 continuation-bet by Arrocha for 6,000.

The A turn was checked by both to see the 3 river, and again to get to showdown. Arrocha turned over J8 for a pair of eights, which was enough to take the small pot against Linde's 106, having missed his flopped straight draw.

In the next hand, Arrocha opened to 6,000 from the hijack, and Pavel Plesuv defended his big blind. A 10J9 flop was check-called by Plesuv after Arrocha asked for 6,000.

The A was turned, and Arrocha saw Plesuv call his 20,000 bet. After the dealer placed the 3 completer, both checked to get to showdown.

Arrocha showed 88 and took down another pot, having rivered the flush. Plesuv's straight with 87 didn't hold up.
