Muehloecker Puts Heat on Lonis

Thomas Muehloecker raised to 110,000 from the cutoff and Jesse Lonis called from the big blind.

The flop came J♣9♠4♦, bringing a bet of 80,000 from Muehloecker and a subsequent call from Lonis before he checked his option to the 3♣ turn. Muehloecker fired another 320,000 and Lonis stuck around once more.

The A♥ fell on the river. Again, Lonis checked and Muehloecker bet, this time a whopping 825,000 chips.

Lonis gave it deliberate consideration, using three time bank extensions before electing to fold his hand.

The flop came 7♦9♦K♦, and both players checked. Sternheimer fired out a bet 55,000 on the 9♥ turn, and Zizka decided to raise to 195,000, Sternheimer called.

Both players checked on the J♦ river, and Sternheimer scooped the pot with a queen-high flush.

Jesse Lonis, who flopped a pair of queens Q♥7♥ bet 110,000. Weissman made the call.

The 10♦ hit on the turn. Weissman checked again. Lonis bet 265,000 and Weissman called.

The board paired with the 10♥ on the river. Weissman checked for a third straight time, and Lonis checked back and took the pot.
