2026 World Series of Poker
Ryan Hansen potted to 280,000 on the button before Ryan Hoenig repotted to 920,000 in the small blind. Hansen jammed and Hoenig called off his roughly 1,125,000 stack.
Ryan Hoenig: A♦Q♦8♠4♦
Ryan Hansen: A♥8♥5♦2♥
The 5♣4♠4♥ flop gave Hoenig trips and Hansen picked up the nut low draw. The 7♥ turn gave Hansen a straight draw as well, which completed on the 6♣ river, giving Hansen a straight and the nut low to eliminate Hoenig on the final table bubble.
Rocky Paradise opened to 220,000 in the hijack before David Hipperson jammed for 255,000 from the small blind. Paradise called to put him at risk.
David Hipperson: A♠J♦10♦4♠
Rocky Paradise: A♥Q♠Q♥2♠
The K♥K♣8♠ flop left Hipperson needed lots of help, which he could not find on the Q♣Q♦ runout, as Paradise went runner-runner quads as an extra needle, and Hipperson exited in 11th after a great run.
David Hipperson potted to 280,000 under the gun and was called by Frederic Normand in the cutoff and Darin Utley in the big blind.
On the 10♥8♠2♣ flop, Hipperson moved his final 350,000 into the middle, Normand potted, and Utley folded.
David Hipperson: A♥Q♥3♠2♠
Frederic Normand: A♦Q♠8♥3♥
Both had the same low draw while Normand's eights were in the lead for the high.
The board ran out 6♠4♦ and Normand quartered Hipperson after neither player improved their high, but the low came in.
Ray Fishman made a pot-sized raise to 280,000 under the gun, leaving himself only 50,000 behind. Michael Rodrigues called in the cutoff, after which Fishman's final chips quickly flew in on the 9♦9♣A♥ flop.
Ray Fishman: K♠Q♣9♠8♣
Michael Rodrigues: A♠K♦Q♠6♣
"I knew it!" Dennis Weiss exclaimed upon seeing Fishman holding his beloved nine.
"It's not over yet," Fishman replied.
Fishman's caution appeared to be correct as Rodrigues turned a better three of a kind on the A♣ turn, and the 3♦ river could not save Fishman from his demise.
"I had a feeling the ace was coming," Fishman stated as he departed the tournament area.
Darin Utley potted to 280,000 first-to-act and was called by Tobias Hausen in the cutoff and Rocky Paradise in the small blind to create a pot of an even 1,000,000.
The J♦10♣9♣ flop checked through to the J♥ turn. Paradise checked, Utley bet 150,000, Hausen raised to 400,000, and Paradise jammed for 985,000. Utley quickly got out of the way and Hausen confirmed the count before he put in the call.
Rocky Paradise: Q♥Q♣10♥10♦
Tobias Hausen: A♥J♣4♥3♦
Paradise turned tens full of jacks, but Hausen had outs to make a higher boat with his jack. However, the river was the Q♠ and Paradise's queens full were best to secure the double in the massive pot.

After committing most of his chips on the A♣Q♥8♣ flop, big blind Robert Nehorayan got his last few blinds in on the Q♠ turn against Jordan Polk in the cutoff.
Robert Nehorayan: A♦5♥4♥2♦
Jordan Polk: A♥K♦8♠5♣
The 9♦ river helped neither player. Polk took the pot with his king kicker, forcing Nehorayan to say goodbye to his former tablemates.
After several limps, Michael Rodrigues made it 300,000 to go in the big blind. Josh Arieh called in the cutoff, and the J♥3♦5♠ flop was fanned. Rodrigues then got his stack of 2,075,000 all in, with Arieh covering him.
Michael Rodrigues: A♣6♦5♥2♥
Josh Arieh: A♠Q♦Q♣4♦
Rodrigues made two pair on the A♥ turn, and Arieh did not improve enough on the 7♣ river. Rodrigues doubled up, netting him a spot among the chipleaders of the tournament.
