An extra day appears likely, considering last year 17 players returned for Day 3 before two came back for an unscheduled Day 4. Igor Zektser took home $297,285 for his win in 2025, but today's winner will walk away with $387,110.
Two players will be in the strongest possible position ahead of Day 3.
Chip leader Anthony Reategui sits with 5,900,000 in chips, while Casey Hayes holds 5,700,000 — well clear of Thomas Koral (3,700,000) who is third in chips.
Reategui and Koral are also former bracelet winners, with the only other players to have tasted WSOP glory left are Bruno Furth and Scott Abrams.
