Reddy Makes the Jump

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Jason Raber opened to 20,000 from middle position and Kanishka Reddy called from the small blind.

The pair saw a 10Q8 flop and Reddy checked. Raber moved all in for around 245,000 to cover Reddy's remaining 94,000 and Reddy went into the tank. There were 72 players left and there was a $369 pay jump for 71st place, so once Reddy heard another dealer say "Payout", he made the call.

Kanishka Reddy: JKAll in
Jason Raber: KK

Reddy was looking at an open-ended straight draw, but was still behind against Raber's kings.

A 10 turn and 10 river didn't change the standings, and he hit the rail having made the pay jump.
