Play Tightens Up
Level 27
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
With little action getting to the flop, players have tightened up their play after the most recent elimination.
In a recent hand, Erwann Pecheux opened to 160,000 on the button, and Albert Calderon defended his big blind.
The Q♠4♦J♠ flop was checked through to the 10♦ turn and 2♦ river. Calderon took the pot after betting out 225,000 on the river, forcing a fold from Pecheux.
A few hands later, Yaniv Peretz opened to 160,000 from the hijack and Kimon Fountoukidis defended from the big blind. The J♥Q♦8♣ flop was check-folded by Fountoukidis after Peretz moved out a 120,000 bet.
