Peretz Puts on the Pressure
Action folded around to Braxton Dunaway, who limped from the small blind, and Yaniv Peretz checked from the big blind. As the dealer placed the J♥K♥Q♥ flop, Peretz was staring down his neighbor until Dunaway completed his action.
Both checked to see the 7♦ turn, and again Peretz was looking directly at Dunaway as he bet out 80,000. Peretz called, and the A♦ completed the board.
Peretz bet out 175,000, and Dunaway called. The pair flipped their cards, and both had a ten for the straight, and the pair chopped the pot. Dunaway with J♣10♥ and Peretz with 10♠4♣.
In the next hand, Albert Calderon opened to 160,000 from early position and Peretz three-bet to 480,000 from the small blind. Calderon asked, "How much is that?" to get confirmation from the dealer as the pair were sitting at opposite ends of the feature table.
Calderon called, and the players saw a 3♣3♥Q♣ flop. Peretz bet out 250,000, which saw Calderon swiftly throw his hand into the muck.
