Jyri Merivirta limped in under the gun. Matthew Valeo then raised in the hijack, seeing Gus Hansen call in the hijack. Sebastian Schulz came along on the button, and Merivirta called as well. Each player then drew two cards.
After Merivirta checked, Valeo bet after the draw. Hansen raised, Schulz and Merivirta called, Valeo three-bet, and Hansen four-bet. Each player then tossed in calling chips.
On the second draw, Merivirta and Valeo took one each. Hansen remained pat, while Schulz still needed two. It then checked around, and each player took the same number of cards on the final draw.
It checked to showdown, where Valeo tabled the best badugi with 7♣4♦3♥3♣A♠, and Hansen won the low with 7♥6♦5♠3♦2♥.
"I was happy with my low, until I looked at the game," Hansen admitted as the chips were chopped up. "Once I saw it, I went into shutdown mode."
