Miller, Ausmus Tangle in Two Pots

Level 19

No-Limit Hold'em

Jeremy Ausmus raised to 26,000 under the gun, Ryan Miller three-bet to 75,000 in the small blind, and Ausmus called.

The flop came A9J and Miller bet 50,000. Ausmus called, and they both checked the 7 turn.

Miller also checked the 5 river, and Ausmus bet 130,000. Miller tanked for a minute before folding. "He's a no-limit genius," he said.

"Poo, this is a skill game," Chad Eveslage added.

"When you hit every f**king hand," Miller replied.

The next hand, Miller bet 20,000 from the button on a flop of K48 and Ausmus called in the big blind.

Miller bet another 45,000 on the 6 turn, and Ausmus again called. The river was the 4 and Miller bet 90,000. Ausmus folded this time, and Miller got some of his chips back.

Some Check-Raised Pots

Level 19

Pot-Limit Hold'em

Tomasz Gluszko raised to 28,000 under the gun. It folded to Koji Fujimoto in the big blind, who defended. The flop fell 552. Fujimoto checked to Gluszko, who bet 20,000.

Fujimoto then raised to 80,000, taking down the pot as Gluszko let his cards go.

No-Limit Hold'em

Ryan Miller had called in the big blind after Jeremy Ausmus opened from the cutoff. Ausmus then bet 20,000 on the K43 flop, which Miller check-raised to 55,000.

Ausmus called to the 5 turn, on which Miller reverted to a check. Ausmus slid in a tower of chips worth 100,000, garnering a quick fold from his opponent to rake in the pot.

Three Fall in Quick Succession

Level 19
Andrew Kelsall
Andrew Kelsall

There were three all ins at each table all at the same time.

Pot-Limit Hold'em

First, Ofir Mor had raised to 50,000 in the cutoff, then called for an additional 2,000 when Tomasz Gluszko reraised in the small blind.

Ofir Mor: A7 All in
Tomasz Gluszko: AA

Mor had run right into Gluszko's aces, and the Q6293 board offered no help as he was sent to the rail.

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Andrew Kelsall then opened to 40,000 in the cutoff, Jake Schwartz moved all in on the button, and Kelsall called for 160,000.

Kelsall drew two on the first draw, and Schwartz drew one. Schwartz then stood pat, and Kelsall drew one. "I have a chance," Kelsall said as he peeled his card, then stood pat. Schwartz also stood pat.

Kelsall turned over 7x6x5x3x2x, but Schwartz had the nuts with 7x5x4x3x2x for a wheel to win the pot and eliminate Kelsall.

Pot-Limit Omaha 8 or Better

The all ins kept on coming, for at another table Lawrence Brandt potted in the small blind and Brian Tate called for 210,000 under the gun.

Brian Tate: A1084 All in
Lawrence Brandt: 6532

The board ran out 248AQ, and Brandt made a straight and a low to scoop the pot and send Tate to the rail, bringing the field down to 11 players.

Yockey Doubles Through Ausmus

Level 19

Pot-Limit Omaha

Bryce Yockey raised to 42,000 in the cutoff, and Jeremy Ausmus defended in the big blind. Yockey continued for 20,000 on the 10A10 flop. Ausmus spent some time in the tank before he check-raised all in, and Yockey instantly called off his stack of 182,000.

Bryce Yockey: A1055 All in
Jeremy Ausmus: Q1099

Ausmus had a shot at runner-runner quads when the 9 appeared on the turn, but the river fell an innocuous Q to double up Yockey.

Gluszko Gets It All

Level 19

Badeucey

Picking up the hand after the second draw, Duane Fontenot fired a bet from the big blind, which Tomasz Gluszko raised in the cutoff. Fontenot thought for some time before he called, after which the duo each took one card on the final draw.

Fontenot then check-called a bet from Gluszko to go to showdown. Gluszko showed 107632 for a ten-low with a seven-badugi. Fontenot had a slightly worse ten-low with 107643, and he had to concede the pot to Gluszko.

Cassidy Can't Find a "Chad Street"

Level 19

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Ryan Miller and Joe Cassidy exchanged raises on third street until Cassidy was all in for his last 83,000.

Miller ended up with KKJJ842 for two pair. Cassidy had Q1010743 showing by seventh as he prepared to turn over his last card.

"Ten. I need a Chad street," he said, referring to tablemate Chad Eveslage, but he ended up turning over the 9 and was sent to the rail.

"Poo took a bad beat there. He made two pair when he didn't need it," Jake Schwartz said.

"Now when I need it, it won't come," Miller replied.

Level 19

Pot-Limit Omaha

Brian Tate raised to 30,000 in the cutoff and Jeremy Ausmus three-bet to 100,000 on the button. Tate then moved all in for 171,000, and Ausmus called.

Brian Tate: AAQ4 All in
Jeremy Ausmus: AQJJ

Tate was ahead with his aces, and the board ran out 3Q7K8 to earn him the double up.

"That's going to go down as a big, big cooler," tablemate Andrew Kelsall said.

"I haven't had one yet," Ausmus replied as he handed over the pot.

Matt Glantz

No-Limit Hold'em

Jake Schwartz had opened on the button when he called small blind Matt Glantz's all-in for 55,000.

Matt Glantz: A6 All in
Jake Schwartz: 97

Glantz remained ahead on the 441062 runout to secure his double-up.

One hand later, he pushed all in on the button for 138,000. Ryan Miller asked for a count in the small blind and called shortly after.

Matt Glantz: 88 All in
Ryan Miller: A9

Miller paired up on the A10Q flop for a big lead. The 2 turn did not help Glantz, and Miller made two pair on the 9 river to eliminate his neighbor in style.

Ausmus Shoves Out Tate

Level 19

Big O

Brian Tate raised to 35,000 in the small blind and Jeremy Ausmus called in the big blind.

The flop came Q3K and Tate bet 25,000. Ausmus called, and the J fell on the turn.
