Michael Schlittler opened to 80,000 in middle position and got called by big blind Jerome Neppl to see a flop. The flop came 10♦K♣J♠.
Both players checked leading them to the 7♥ turn. Neppl resumed action with 120,000 and Schlittler hung on.
After a check, Schlittler fired 230,000 sending Neppl to the tank. Leaning back, he stared at Schlittler, who looked calm and cool. Neppl finally mucked his hand and asked, "Ace-queen?"
Schlittler replied that he had ace-king which seemed to satisfy Neppl.
Tyler Boyer opened shoved 510,000 from middle position. Joshua Brodsky, in the small blind, asked for a count then called.
Tyler Boyer: K♥Q♣
Joshua Brodsky: 8♣8♥
No luck came for Boyer as the board ran out 3♦4♣3♠4♥2♥, and he was eliminated in 18th place.
Brett Slezak raised from early position to 80,000, and Jessica Odom three-bet all in for 560,000 from the cutoff. Slezak made the call and announced, "Only aces?"
Jessica Odom: A♦A♠
Brett Slezak: 10♥10♦
The board was 5♠J♦3♥4♥Q♠ and the aces held for Odom, leaving Slezak in the danger zone for chips.
Antony Diep moved all in from early position, and Brett Slezak reshoved for isolation from the hijack. Everyone else folded.
Antony Diep: A♦3♦
Brett Slezak: K♥K♦
Prior to the board arriving, Slezak announced that Diep was likely good as he had been running badly with kings earlier in the day.
The board was A♣10♠10♣8♣3♥ and Diep would survive his shove.
Michael Schlittler opened for 80,000 and got both the blinds, Jerome Neppl in the small blind and Jason Bardol in the big blind, to call.
The flop dropped Q♣6♣Q♥. After Neppl checked, Bardol fired 150,000. Schlittler called, but Neppl got out of the way.
When the 2♦ turn was peeled, Bardol immediately announced an all-in for 825,000 and, to his surprise, Schlittler instantly called. Bardol kept asking, "What's your kicker?" He then groaned in frustration as they tabled the cards.
Jason Bardol: Q♠8♥
Michael Schlittler: 6♠6♥
Bardol got on his feet when he saw Schittlier's full house. The board was completed with the A♦ river, sealing Bardol's fate. Bardol left the table, as Schlittler scooped the pot.
On the side, Neppl expressed his relief that, finally, the target on his back has finally shifted to someone else.
Jerome Neppl limped from the hijack, and Jason Bardol also limped from the cutoff. Lennart Hennig woke up with a hand on the button and shoved his stack in for 500,000. Michael Schlittler also woke up with a hand in the small blind and reshoved for 1,380,000. Everyone else backed out.
Lennart Hennig: A♠J♥
Michael Schlittler: Q♣Q♦
The dealer displayed 3♦4♥10♥7♦2♦, and the pair of queens would be victorious.
Sean Hamrick opened shoved 275,000 from under the gun. Timothy Dugan called in middle position and all other players folded.
Sean Hamrick: J♥J♦
Timothy Dugan: Q♥J♠
Hamrick held as the board ran out 2♣K♥8♣6♦4♦, and he doubled.
