Alexanjan Bets Strong

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Sean Hamrick opened to 16,000 under the gun and received a 35,000 three-bet from Nicholas Albin in middle position. Karapet Alexanjan, in cutoff, had other plans and four-bet to 70,000.

Hamrick got out of the escalating heat and folded his hand. Albin called to see the flop.

The dealer turned over 455. Albin passed the action to Alexajan who increased the pressure with 115,000 chips. Albin, having seen enough, folded his hand immediately.

Capps vs. Brown

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Action was picked up with roughly 100,000 chips in the pot on a flop of A610. Jesse Capps, in the cutoff, bet 40,000 and Jessica Brown called from the big blind.

Both players checked to showdown as the board ran out QA. Capps tabled K9 for king-high, which was enough to win the pot, while Brown showed a missed flush draw with 75.

“I should have raised you on the flop,” Brown said after the hand.

“Yes, but I call you if you lead the river,” Capps replied.

Joshua Calderon raised to 35,000 from the cutoff, and Yutaka Morishima defended his big blind. The flop was 9K4, and both players checked.

The turn Q also brought no action with a check from each player.

The river 6 sparked a bet of 16,000 from Morishima, and Calderon played it safe and called.

Morishima showed 76, for a pair of sixes, and Calderon turned over AQ for a pair of queens and the win.

Battle of the Blinds

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

With action folding around to the blinds, small blind Kevin Gattes raised to 52,000 and, after considering his action, big blind Terrell Cheatham called to see a flop.

The dealer fanned out Q93, which both players checked. Gattes resumed action with a 55,000 bet on the 2 turn. Terrell looked at his chips, then announced a raise of 155,000 before pushing the chips in.

Gattes stared Cheatham down but got no tell from his expressionless face. Gattes finally threw his hand to the muck, conceding the pot to Cheatham.

"Flopping A Royal...Easy Game"

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Bobby Sanchez raised from early position to 25,000, and Isaac Ebrom defended from the big blind. The flop arrived with KAQ, and both players checked.

Action started again on the turn 4, as Ebrom stepped into Sanchez's trap and bet out 31,000. Sanchez flat called.

On the river 4, Ebrom moved back into checking mode, and Sanchez put out 75,000. Ebrom called and immediately saw the bad news.

Sanchez had flopped the royal flush holding J10, and Ebrom mucked.

"That was dirty, Sanchez," joked Ebrom
