Ronnie Bardah
Ronnie Bardah

In the first hand, Jorge Ufano raised first to act and called a three-bet from Ronnie Bardah, who was in the small blind.

Ufano called bets from Bardah on the QA5 flop, 2 turn, and 7 river.

Bardah turned over AK for top pair, top kicker and Ufano mucked his hand.

On the very next hand, Bardah opened on the button and called a three-bet from Dennis Weiss.

Bardah called a bet from Weiss on the 6J2 flop, but then raised a bet from Weiss on the K turn. Weiss called.

Weiss check-called a bet from Bardah on the 7 river and Bardah showed KJ for top two pair. Weiss mucked and Bardah was sent the pot.

On the hand after that, Bardah raised from under the gun and called a three-bet from Ufano, who was in the small blind.

Bardah called bets from Ufano on the 85J flop and 3 turn, and then both players checked on the 6 river.

Bardah tabled A5 for a pair of fives and Ufano mucked — awarding a third pot in a row to Bardah.

Bellantoni Gets Gun Shy on the River

Level 24 : Limits 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 484, Vo Ngo bet from the big blind and Michael Bellantoni called from under the gun.

Bellantoni called another bet from Ngo on the 7 turn, but then raised a bet from Ngo on the A river.

Ngo made it three bets to go and Bellantoni called.

Ngo showed AK for aces-up, but it was no good against Bellantoni's A4 for a full house.

"When you three-bet on the river, I was like, ah sh**," Bellantoni said as he collected the pot.

Paul Lenkeit Eliminated in 10th Place ($8,791), Gregory Sessler Eliminated in 11th Place ($8,791)

Level 24 : Limits 20,000/40,000, 0 ante
Paul Lenkeit
Paul Lenkeit

Gregory Sessler raised from under the gun which left him just 30,000 behind. Action folded to Paul Lenkeit in the cutoff who put in a three-bet, which was enough for himself and Sessler to be all in. Dennis Weiss sat on the button then put out a four-bet to isolate, which did the job.

Gregory Sessler: J7 All in
Paul Lenkeit: K6 All in
Dennis Weiss: AQ

A handy flop for Sessler of J48 to send him into the lead. That didn't last long though, when the dealer peeled off the Q as the turn.

The A dropped on the river and gave Weiss two pair to send both Sessler and Lenkeit to the rail.

Sessler Survives

Level 24 : Limits 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Gregory Sessler opened under the gun and picked up a call from Jorge Ufano in the big blind.

On the 924 flop, Ufano check-raised Sessler’s bet, who then three-bet and got called.

Ufano took the lead on the 6 turn and Sessler stuck around to see the 7 river.

Ufano continued on the river and Sessler called, only to see Ufano table A4 for the ace-high flush. Sessler showed JJ for a jack-high flush but was left short with around 90,000 chips.

In the very next hand, action folded to Dennis Weiss on the button, who raised. Sessler moved all in from the big blind and Weiss made the call, leading to a showdown.

Gregory Sessler: Q10All in
Dennis Weiss: A4

The flop came down 335, offering no help for Sessler. He stood up from his chair.

"Oh no, he is standing up," Weiss quipped.

The 5 didn't change anything, but the 10 river gave Sessler a better pair to stay around in the tournament.
