105 Players Return for Day 2 of $1,500 Limit Hold'em

Day 2 of Event #30: $1,500 Limit Hold'em 7-handed will see 105 players return to the Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas, with their sights set on a share of the $677,025 prize pool. With only 77 places paid, there is still plenty of work to be done before the money is reached. Those who make it through the bubble will lock up at least $3,034, while the eventual champion will earn the coveted WSOP gold bracelet and the top prize of $133,704.

The field has already been reduced from 510 entries after a full day of fixed-limit action, and Day 2 is expected to separate the true contenders from the rest. Although the money bubble is not an immediate concern, every big bet gained or lost could prove crucial as the tournament moves toward its later stages.

Leading the way after Day 1 is Laura Wolkoff, who bagged 312,000 chips. Close behind is Ronnie Bardah (296,000), a proven limit specialist and former WSOP bracelet winner who is once again in position for a deep run. Also returning near the top of the counts are Yuxi Huang (295,000), Gregory Sessler (287,000), and Ni Hansen (270,000).

By the end of the day, the tournament should be well on its way toward the final table as the remaining players continue their pursuit of the $133,704 first-place prize.
