Krela Doubles Through Schreiber; Hand For Hand Begins

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Matthew Schreiber raised to 20,000 from late position and Jonathan Krela called on the button.

The flop rolled out A53 and Krela called the 20,000 bet from Schreiber.

Action checked through on the 6 turn to the river 5 where Schreiber bet 105,000.

Krela jammed for 154,000 total and Schreiber prematurely exposed 66 for sixes full, before realizing that Krela raised.

"God it's so sick, I think you have aces full," Schreiber muttered as he contemplated his decision. He shifted back and forth in his seat before reluctantly tossing in the chips to match Krela's.

Jonathan Krela: AA88 All in
Matthew Schreiber: AK66

Schreiber's prediction came true as Krela raked in the pot.

As the hand completed, the tournament floor announced that the tournament has progressed to the hand for hand portion, while still three away from the money.

Sklar Goes Runner-Runner to Bust Runza

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Anthony Runza potted to 35,000 second-to-act and Richard Sklar called in the cutoff.

Before the J104 flop was dealt, Runza tossed in his final 19,000, and Sklar called.

Anthony Runza: AA105 All in
Richard Sklar: AQ106

Runza was in good shape with aces and the shared ten, along with the better backdoor low. Sklar had a middle pair with a gutter, as the 7 turn gave him additional outs. The dealer then peeled the 9 on the river, completing Sklar's flush and sending Runza to the rail.

The field is now three away from the money as the pace of play slows considerably.

Owen Folds To Coleman

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

David Coleman raised from under the gun to 25,000 and Brad Owen called on the button.

The flop rolled out QQ6 and Owen called the 20,000 continuation bet from Coleman.

On the turn 9, Coleman bet 80,000 and Owen thought for a bit before tossing his hand away.

At another table, Tyler Brown was eliminated.

Zschunke Falls To Gamble

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Action was picked up in a three way pot between Nick Guagenti in the small blind, Erickson Zschunke in the big blind, and Nathan Gamble in the hijack.

The flop rolled out 1085 and Guagenti checked over to Zschunke who bet 40,000 and only Gamble called.

On the turn K, Zschunk moved all in for 25,000 and Gamble called.

Nathan Gamble: A853 All in
Erickson Zschunke: A954

Gamble improved to the nut flush and second nut low on the river 4 to take down the pot.

Gamble Rivers Weisman

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Nathan Gamble opened the button to 30,000 and Dylan Weisman defended his big blind.

The KQJ flop checked through to the 8 turn which saw Weisman lead for 25,000 and Gamble called.

On the A river, Weisman led again for a small size of 30,000 and Gamble instantly flicked in a chip to call.

Weisman announced kings for second set, but Gamble quickly rolled over AA44 for a rivered top set, and he dragged a modest pot.
