Hellmuth v. Miner Round II

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Benjamin Miner opened to 12,000 under the gun and was called by Phil Hellmuth in the small blind and Rishi Amin in the big blind.

On the 1044 flop, Miner bet just 8,000 before Hellmuth clicked it to 20,000. Amin folded and Miner called.

The Q turn would check through before the 2 fell on the river. Hellmuth quickly checked and Miner snap-checked back.

"F*ck!" exclaimed Hellmuth as he tabled A10103 for a flopped full house, frustrated that he couldn't make any more chips.

To make matters worse, Miner revealed AA in his hand as he made a prudent check on the river.

Who is the High Roller Newcomer Crushing the WSOP $50K Final Table?

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Anatoly Zlotnikov
Anatoly Zlotnikov

As players gathered around the feature table for the restart of the $50,000 High Roller final table, Anatoly Zlotnikov had one last item on his pre-game checklist.

A few minutes before cards went in the air, the Russian wandered over to Phil Hellmuth and asked the WSOP's all-time bracelet winner for a good-luck fist bump.

Given the heater he's been on lately, it's hard to imagine Zlotnikov needing any extra luck.

The 32-year-old returns to the final six with more than half the chips in play and nearly three times as many as his closest challenger, Santhosh Suvarna. Yet despite sitting in one of the most commanding positions of the summer, plenty of poker fans are still asking the same question:

Who exactly is Anatoly Zlotnikov?

Miner Flops it All

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Benjamin Miner opened to 10,000 second-to-act and was called by Ben Yu in the hijack and Phil Hellmuth in the big blind.

On the 743 flop, Miner continued for 10,000 and both opponents called.

The turn was a repeat 3 as Miner bet again for 30,000. Yu folded and Hellmuth called.

On the J river, Miner announced a pot-sized bet of 128,000, putting Hellmuth to a decision for most of his remaining chips. He eventually decided to let it go, and Miner showed that he had A2, flopping the nut flush with the nut low.

After a limp, Jonathan Greene potted to 23,000 on the button. In the small blind, Yuri Dzivielevski repotted to 79,000, and Greene called.

On the 832 flop, Dzivielevski put in his final 63,000, and Greene called with the covering stack.
