How Many Players Will Buy Into Day 1c of the $500 COLOSSUS?
Today marks the start of Day 1c of Event #34: $500 The COLOSSUS No-Limit Hold'em at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP). It is widely expected that Day 1c will be the busiest flight so far, and that means the field should be massive.
Day 1a saw 2,684 players enter, with Day 1b seeing 3,129 take to the felt. Could Day 1c's field top 4,000 entrants or even more? We don't have long to wait to find out because Day 1c shuffles up and deals at 10 a.m. local time.
Day 1b ran on June 11 and saw 612 players progress, with Cody Little (1,094,000) leading the way. Dozens of established pros joined Little in bagging up at the end of the night, including two-time bracelet winner Scott Ball (425,000).
