Day 3 Completed
Play has wrapped on Day 3 of Event #34: $500 COLOSSUS at the 2026 World Series of Poker, setting up a tightly packed final table after a fast and action-filled day inside the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.
From a field of 303 returning players, just nine remain in contention for the bracelet, with Yuefan Wang emerging as the clear chip leader after a dominant run through the day. Wang ends with 175,000,000 chips and will bring a strong advantage into the final table, looking well positioned to convert that lead into the title.
Behind him, Karabet Keshishyan and Jose Orozco Gomez sit almost tied in the standings with 122,000,000 and 110,500,000, respectively, while Justin Smith and Myles German remain firmly in the mix. Eric Baldwin, the most experienced player at the table and the only former bracelet winner still in contention, sits sixth in chips as the final table begins to take shape.

Play has finished for the day in Event #34: $500 Colossus. Stay tuned here at PokerNews for a recap of today's action.
In the second hand of 10-handed play, Jose Orozco Gomez raised to 6,000,000 from under the gun.
The action folded around until Justin Datloff made the call from the big blind.
The flop hit 8♣8♦5♣. Datloff checked. Gomez bet 7,500,000. Datloff called.
The J♠ came on the turn. Datloff checked again.
Orozco Gomez grabbed a stack of 5,000,000 denomination chips and pushed them forward. Datloff tossed a single chip toward the pot to indicate a call. He had the smaller stack.
Justin Datloff: J♣7♣
Jose Gomez: Q♠Q♦
Datloff had a flush draw to go with his jacks, up against Gomez' overpair.
The river bricked with the 3♦ and Gomez took the hand.
Yuefan Wang opened to 3,000,000 and got an all-in call from Michael Chesney. The rest of the table folded, except Wang who decided to call the 11,000,000 stack.
Michael Chesney: J♦7♦
Yuefan Wang: 10♥7♥
The dealer revealed the board: 8♥6♥4♥Q♥9♣.
Wang already flopped a flush and there was no way that Chesney would survive.
Yuefan Wang opened to 6,000,000 from the hijack before Minjoo Cho made the call to put himself all-in for 6,000,000 on the button. Karabet Keshishyan made the call from the small blind, and Jose Orozco Gomez called from the big blind.
The rest of the table checked down on the Q♥10♥9♠A♦10♠ runout.
"I think I got it," said Wang before he fired 5,000,000. Keshishyan made the call, while Gomez folded.
Cho showed 8♠8♣ for a pair of eights.
Keshishyan revealed K♦Q♣ for two pair, but it was no good as Wang had the best of it with Q♠10♦ for a full house to eliminate Cho in 12th place.
Cho earned $37,600 for his finish.
Eric Baldwin decided to go all in on the button and David Jackson in the small blind decided to call.
David Jackson : K♠J♥
Eric Baldwin: A♥10♦
The dealer run out the board: Q♦5♣K♦J♣4♠.
Baldwin won with a straight and sent Jackson home.
Minjoo Cho raised to 5,000,000 from the hijack. Karabet Keshishyan called from the cutoff, and Matthew Blagg did likewise from the small blind.
The flop hit J♦2♦K♣. Choo bet out again, this time for 5,500,000. Keshishyan called.
Blagg moved all in with a little over 8,000,000. Choo and Keshishyan each called.
The 10♥ hit on the turn. Choo fired a third time, this one was for 12,500,000.
Keshishyan raised all in for 40,500,000.
Choo gave it a little thought before pushing forward some chips to make the call.
Matthew Blagg: K♦J♠
Karabet Keshishyan: A♠Q♣
Minjoo Cho: K♥10♣
A dastardly turn had given Choo two pair, but nailed a gutshot straight for Keshishyan. Blagg had outs for a chop, but the 5♦ on the river wasn't one of them.
