Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

On a flop of Q68 Givens continued for 400,000 when checked to, and Zipfel slid in the call. He then took the initiative with a bet of 1,800,000 on the Q turn, and Givens stuck in the call.

The 7 peeled off on the river, and Zipfel put out a full pot-sized bet of 6,200,000. Givens thought for quite a while before making the fold. Zipfel windmilled 10x8x7x5x with no spade for boat blockers. "Don't mess with me, bro," he added.

Michael Estes

Jason Zipfel opened from the hijack, as he potted to 700,000. Michael Estes moved all in for 1,600,000 from the button, before Thanhlong Nguyen rejammed from the big blind. Zipfel asked for a count, and the bet totalled 3,025,000. After weighing up his options, he decided to call.

Thanhlong Nguyen: AAQQ All in
Jason Zipfel: J1082

"I can't win," Estes proclaimed numerous times after all the cards were tabled, before realising he had two spades. "Spades!" he called, as Zipfel's rail prayed for a deuce. There was one in the window, but it was Estes who would be better off as the 542 flop had both of his opponents drawing to runner-runner.

He began to celebrate, as Nguyen still had to fade the outs of Zipfel, which became moot on the A turn, with Estes now having to sweat. The river 7 confirmed that there would be no eliminations, as Estes took the main and Nguyen scooped the side.
