Foxen Back Down as Nguyen Pulls Off Big Bluff

Christopher Nguyen was in middle position and raised to 400,000 with A♥J♠. It folded to Alex Foxen in the small blind, who wagered a quarter of his stack with his three-bet to 1,100,000, holding A♦2♦.

Nguyen decided to call, after which the 8♥5♠10♥ flop was fanned. Foxen did not go for a continuation-bet, checking it over to Nguyen instead. Nguyen checked back, and the K♠ turn emerged from the deck.

Foxen barreled 1,040,000 into the pot. Nguyen matched the bet, seeing the 2♥ river complete the board afterward. Foxen reverted to a check, but Nguyen turned his hand into a bluff and announced a bet of 1,500,000.

Foxen considered his options for a good while, burning through all his time banks while going over the hand in his head. Eventually, he folded his bottom pair as Nguyen got his massive bluff through.

Kabrhel Flops a Flush and Doubles

Alex Kulev picked up Q♥Q♣ again and raised to 400,000 from middle position. Martin Kabrhel defended his big blind with 8♠6♠ and flopped a flush on 3♠9♠Q♠.

Kulev bet 200,000 with his set, then fired a second barrel to 425,000. Kabrhel check-called the flop before check-raising all-in for 1,240,000 on the 8♥ turn. Kulev quickly called and the cards were revealed.

The 10♥ river changed nothing, so Kabrhel doubled up with his flush.

Foxen found an ace on the 5♣8♦A♣J♦4♥ board to double up and remain in contention, even overtaking Ding in the counts.

Alex Kulev on the button four-bet to 1,350,000 and made Kabrhel fold. Foxen folded as well and noticed that one of his cards was marked, so the deck was changed after Kulev sent his Q♠Q♦ into the muck.

Teun Mulder was on the button and put in a raise to 350,000. Alexandros Theologis wanted to see a flop in the big blind and called.

Theologis checked the 6♥4♠10♠ flop, and Mulder followed suit. Theloogis then led out for 675,000 on the 9♣ turn, which Mulder called.

The A♦ river was checked in quick succession, and Mulder won the pot with 9♦5♦ for third pair, besting the Q♥8♠ of Theologis.

Kulev checked again on the A♥ turn, but he gave up when Dzivielevski added another 300,000 to the pot with a bet.

Mulder checked the Q♥Q♠A♣ flop over to Theologis, who tossed in 200,000 for a continuation-bet. Mulder called, seeing the J♣ appear on the turn. Theologis sized up significantly, sliding in a bet worth 850,000. Mulder just called undeterred.

The 9♠ river was then checked to showdown. Mulder tabled K♥Q♦ for trip queens, and Theologis dropped his 5♠5♣ onto the pile of mucked cards.

Foxen and Kulev checked the 9♣ turn, and Foxen checked the 2♣ river. Kulev with his missed flush draw bet 675,000 and managed to make Foxen fold.

Alexandros Theologis min-raised from the cutoff, and both Christopher Nguyen in the cutoff and Martin Kabrhel in the big blind called.

With A♠8♦, Theologis was lucky enough to flop trips on 8♣7♠8♠, but he checked just like both of his opponents.

The turn card was the 6♣. Kabrhel checked, and Theologis decided to bet 300,000. Nguyen raised to 1,100,000 to make Kabrhel fold A♦4♦, but Theologis called.

The 9♣ landed on the river, and after Theologis checked, Nguyen checked back with 5♠5♦ for a runner-runner straight and scooped the pot.
