Owen Down to Crumbs
High Card: 20,000
Completion: 60,000
Limits: 60,000-120,000
Jon Turner: XxXx / 5x10x4xQx / Xx
Adam Owen: XxXx / 3x7x7x10x / Xx — folded on seventh street
Jon Turner completed and Adam Owen called. Owen bet on fourth street and Turner called.
Turner bet on fifth street and Owen called. On sixth street, Turner check-raised and Owen called, leaving himself just 10,000 behind.
Turner flung his last chips in on the end, seemingly blind, and Owen went into the tank.
"Spread the pot," Turner said with a smile, with Owen facing incredible pot odds.
"This would be the sickest bluff ever," said Owen after a while, before ultimately folding. Turner showed 8x7x for a made ten-eight.
"That was the best hand," said Owen. Turner flipped the Ax as his final hand, improving to a eight-seven.
"I couldn't fold that," said tablemate Sebastian Pauli, with Dennis Weiss agreeing.
