Koon Keeps Wilson Alive

Level 20 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Brandon Wilson limped in early position with A7, and Samuel Mullur followed with a call from the hijack holding KQ. Bryn Kenney also limped from the small blind with A9, and Jason Koon checked his big blind option after looking down at 102.

Kenney led out for 650,000 on the 3105 flop, and Koon made the call. Wilson then moved all in for his last 150,000 and was at risk against two opponents after Mullur folded.

Kenney fired again for 1,175,000 on the A turn, and Koon called to see the 8 river. That produced another lead from Kenney, making it 2,175,000. Koon replied with a raise to 7,000,000, earning a quick fold from Kenney.

Koon tabled his pair of tens after betting Kenney off the best hand for the side pot. That also allowed Wilson to stay alive, as he took down the main pot after Kenney's fold.
