Matusow Quarters Pan; Cruz Goes Under Four-Way
Qinghai Pan got his last few chips in from the big blind on the 4♥A♠10♣6♦ turn against Mike Matusow in the big blind.
Qinghai Pan: 9♠8♣6♥5♦2♠
Mike Matusow: Q♠J♦10♦5♣2♣
Both players had the same low, and Matusow's high remained best on the J♠ river to take three-quarters.
The next hand, Daniel Aharoni raised in early position. Alexis Cruz Martinez called in the hijack, Pan called all in for 50,000 in the small blind, and Aaron Kupin came along from the big blind.
Aharoni bet the 8♠2♠9♠ flop, the short-stacked Cruz called off his final blinds, and Kupin check-folded to force a showdown.
Qinghai Pan: Q♠7♠6♥6♣4♥
Alexis Cruz Martinez: A♣K♠8♣4♣2♦
Daniel Aharoni: A♦6♠6♦4♠3♠
Aharoni had the nut low and a flush, eliminating Cruz on the 9♣7♥ runout. Pan had a higher flush to take half, doubling him up in the four-way pot.
