Anirudh Seth had three-bet an earlier open to 105,000, leaving about 175,000 behind. Mike Matusow then cold four-bet jammed from the big blind.
"Well, f**k, that sucks," Seth stated as he went deep into the tank.
After several minutes, he decided his odds were too good and called off the remainder of his chips.
Anirudh Seth: A♦J♦10♥6♣2♥
Mike Matusow: A♥A♣6♥5♠3♠
Matusow flopped trips on 5♦5♣Q♥. Multiple draws appeared on the 8♦ turn, but the board double-paired on the 8♣ river to see Matusow confirm the elimination.
Octaviano Duran was already all in from the big blind as James Obst and Frank Brannan went to a flop of A♣J♦10♥ with around 200,000 in the pot. Brannan then bet 130,000 from middle position, Obst shoved on the button, and Brannan folded.
Octaviano Duran: K♦K♣9♣7♣4♥
James Obst: A♠K♥J♠7♠2♥
Obst had flopped top two pair, then improved to a full house on the A♥ turn. The river was the 10♦ and Duran was sent to the rail.
"Thanks for letting me make the money," Duran said to his tablemates as he headed off to collect his payout.
Level: 18
Blinds: 6,000/12,000
Ante: 12,000
With Octaviano Duran already all in for his last few chips before the flop, Chris Brewer committed his last 70,000 on the K♥J♥4♥ flop and was covered by Bruno Furth.
Octaviano Duran: A♠6♥4♠3♣2♥
Chris Brewer: A♥Q♣5♠5♣3♥
Bruno Furth: K♠K♦Q♠8♣7♦
Brewer had flopped the nuts and also made the nut low when the runout came 5♦2♣. Brewer scooped Furth for the main pot and took three-quarters of the side pot, leaving Duran on crumbs once again.
During this hand, Jonathan Glendinning was eliminated from an adjacent table.
William Kerkaert raised to 30,000 in the hijack and Anirudh Seth reraised to 100,000 in the small blind. Kerkaert called, and Seth then bet his last 20,000 on the 4♠8♦10♣ flop. Kerkaert again called to put him at risk.
Anirudh Seth: A♠10♠9♣7♠2♠
William Kerkaert: A♣J♠8♠3♦3♠
"Wow, he's all over that," tablemate Mike Matusow said when Seth revealed his cards. The board ran out Q♣6♥, and Seth ended up with a straight and nut low to scoop the pot and double up.
Aaron Kupin reraised to 90,000 in the cutoff and Christian Harder called under the gun. Harder then moved all in on the 2♣9♦10♠ flop, and Kupin called for 254,000 total.
Aaron Kupin: A♠A♦9♠8♦3♠
Christian Harder: A♣10♥8♣3♥2♥
Harder had flopped two pair to take the lead over Kupin's aces, and the 3♣ turn left Kupin a card away from elimination. The river, though, brought the A♥, and Kupin made a set to win the pot and double up.
Daniel Hirsh got his stack of 51,000 in on the K♥2♠Q♥ flop from early position, and was up against Yevgeniy Timoshenko in the small blind.
Daniel Hirsh: A♥K♠Q♦5♠4♥
Yevgeniy Timoshenko: A♣J♣10♥7♠6♣
Hirsh turned a flush on the 7♥, and the A♠ river guaranteed him a scoop to double up.
Nick Pupillo moved all in from the big blind on a flop of A♥J♣4♠, and Sam Soverel called for his last 35,000 in the hijack.
Sam Soverel: A♠Q♣9♠5♦4♦
Nick Pupillo: 10♣4♥3♣3♦2♥
Soverel was ahead with two pair, and the board ran out K♥J♠ to keep him in the lead for the double-up.
Chino Rheem potted to 115,000 in the small blind and Qinghai Pan called in the hijack.
The flop came 8♣2♥4♥ and Rheem moved all in for 63,000. Pan called to put him at risk.
Chino Rheem: A♥A♠K♥10♦2♣
Qinghai Pan: A♦Q♠J♥5♦2♠
Rheem showed down two aces, while Pan had a low. Pan hit two pair on the J♠ turn to take the lead, and the river was the 9♣ as Pan scooped the pot to bust Rheem on the money bubble.
The remaining 69 players are now in the money.
