Wang Can Live with a Chop

Level 28 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Todd German opened 250,000 and Eric Wang called from the late position. Ricardo Padilla in the blind followed suit.

All three players checked all the way through the turn of a 10K6K. Padilla checked the river J prompting German to bet 500,000.

After a few seconds, Wang raised to 1,200,000. Padilla folded his hand saying, "I'd call the 500 but not the raise." German shoved all in for around 900,000.

Wang gave out a sigh of resignation and called. He asked, "What do you have?" German tabled AQ and said, "I have a straight."

Wang replied, "So do I," then tabled exactly the same hand AQ.

Players commented that it's a chop, and Wang quite satisfied with the result said, "I can live with that."
