Action was followed from when Isaiah Goldman had raised to 15,000 from middle position and Robert Cowen re-raised to 25,000 on the button. Cary Katz called and Goldman moved all in for his 65,100. Cowen moved out a stack of approximately 200,000 to cover Katz's remaining 125,000, who also joined and put himself at risk.

Goldman was ahead with pocket aces before any board was dealt, and he improved on the A♦3♣Q♦ flop. The 4♠ turn brought in some straight draw outs for Katz but it was the 2♦ river which put Cowen ahead having rivered the king high flush, seeing to both of his opponents' eliminations.
