Smith Doubles, Airball Eliminated

Level 11 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Nik Airball
Nik Airball

Aaron Mermelstein limped in from under the gun, and Dylan Smith did the same on the hijack. Nikhil 'Airball' Arcot then potted it from the small blind, putting 25,000 into the middle, which both limpers called.

Arcot immediately potted it again for 85,000 on the K104 flop. Mermelstein folded, but Smith moved all in for 168,000, and Arcot called.

Dylan Smith: QJ109 All in
Nikhil Arcot: QJ106

Their hands were nearly identical, both with a pair of tens and a straight draw. The 8 rolled off on the turn, changing nothing, then the J completed the board, giving Smith a king-high straight, and along with it, a full double-up.

Left with just 12,000, Arcot was eliminated the following hand.
