Pugh-Jones Takes One Down

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Ka Kwan Lau limped in from early position, and, one seat to his left, Barrett Threadgill did the same. Stian Usterud joined in on the button before Gruffudd Pugh-Jones spoiled the party with a raise to 150,000 from the small blind. Lau called, but the two limpers folded.

The dealer laid out a A82 flop, and Pugh-Jones moved all in for 195,000. Lau, who had used his hands to cover the flop, peeled the cards one at a time. Clearly, he hadn't connected, as he returned his cards to the dealer.
