River Drowns Mercier
Level 20
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Brevin Andreadis raised to 140,000 in the hijack, and faced a three-bet to 480,000 from Jason Mercier on the button. When the action came back his way, Andreadis called.
Mercier's remaining 50,000 found its way in on the Q♥8♣9♥ flop, and the cards were flipped over.
Jason Mercier: A♦A♣9♣3♣
Brevin Andreadis: A♥K♥K♦4♠
The 4♣ turn kept Mercier in the lead, but the game was up when the 10♥ improved Andreadis to a flush, sending Mercier to the rail.
