Matthew Costanzo raised to 210,000 from under the gun, which Hani Mio called in middle position. Joao Simao then three-bet to 930,000 from the hijack. When the action folded back to Costanzo, he committed his 545,000 stack into the middle, and Mio opted to call the three-bet as well.

Mio checked on the 5♠6♦6♥ flop, but folded when Simao bet 400,000, leaving Mio with just 340,000.

Costanzo was drawing very thin, and the 9♦ turn left him with just two outs to survive. The deck helped him out, though, as the J♦ rolled off on the river, seeing him survive with a full triple up.
