Sarmiento Good at Showdown
Level 23
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Steven Sarmiento raised to 270,000 from under the gun, and only Levon Khachatryan called in the cutoff.
Sarmiento checked on the A♣6♠6♦ flop, prompting Khachatryan to take over the betting lead, putting 175,000 into the pot. Sarmiento called, before the action checked down on both the K♦ turn and J♣ river.
"Ace-queen", Sarmiento announced, as he tabled A♦Q♥9♦7♦, and Khachatryan mucked his hand.
