Action went heads-up to a flop of 10♦Q♥7♠ in a hand between the under-the-gun Seth Fischer and Russell Rosenblum on the button.
With 325,000 in the middle, Fischer checked and Rosenblum bet 60,000. Fischer raised to 225,000 and Rosenblum made the call.
The turn landed the K♣ and Fischer moved all in to put Rosenblum at risk, who had 630,000 behind. Rosenblum snap called.
Russell Rosenblum: 10♠10♣
Seth Fischer: 7♦7♣
It was quite the cooler for Fischer, and the 5♦ river earned Rosenblum the double up.
Jed Friedman raised to 100,000 in middle position, Frank Stumpf flatted in the small blind, and Frank Lagodich called in the big blind.
The flop came 4♦K♥6♥ and it checked to Friedman, who bet 90,000. Stumpf called, Lagodich raised to 360,000, and Friedman went into the tank.
"I'm sorry sorry guys," said Friedman, eventually tossing his cards into the muck. Stumpf made the call.
On the 9♠ turn, Lagodich moved all in for 1,070,000 effective to put Stumpf at risk, who quickly called.
Frank Stumpf: 6♠6♣
Frank Lagodich: 5♥2♥
Lagodich had plenty of outs with a flush draw and a gutshot, but the 8♠ river was safe for Stumpf, earning him the double up.
There were over 400,000 already in the middle on a board that read 3♦Q♦A♥A♣A♠ when this hand was picked up.
Shawn Taylor checked out of the small blind before Daniel Drommel went all in for 640,000. Taylor was in the tank for a considerable time. A player called the clock on him.
Taylor waited until the final second before he put in the call to put himself at risk for 475,000.
Drommel showed K♠Q♣ for a full house as Taylor tabled 6♣3♣ for an inferior full house to exit the tournament.
Ronald Hunt moved all in on the button for 255,000 and was called by Rob Kuhn in the big blind.
Ronald Hunt: A♥9♥
Rob Kuhn: A♣2♥
The board ran out 3♦4♠4♦7♦5♥, with Kuhn hitting a wheel on the river to send Hunt packing.
Manuel Fischer was in the small blind and already in a pot against Steven Hinkle who was sitting under the gun. Fischer was already all in for his remaining 395,000, which was more than covered by Hinkle, who was sitting with a monster stack.
Manuel Fischer: 9♣9♠
Steven Hinkle: A♠A♣
Although the 10♣8♥J♣ flop saw Fischer flop an open-ended straight draw, he couldn't quite get there on the 6♣ turn.
The Q♣ river saw Hinkle take the pot with the nut flush, and Fischer left the tournament area.
Bradley Gafford raised to 100,000 in early position with A♦10♥, Matas Kacinskas three-bet to 300,000 in the hijack with Q♦Q♣, and Gafford responded with a four-bet to 725,000. Kacinskas made the call.
The flop came J♥2♥7♠, Gafford bet 350,000 and Kacinskas called, bringing the 9♠ turn.
Gafford slowed down with a check and Kacinskas bet 880,000, prompting Gafford to give up his hand.
Jesus Martinez got it all in preflop for 165,000 in the small blind against Jhordy Sanchez in the cutoff, who covered.
Jesus Martinez: A♥Q♣
Jhordy Sanchez: K♥K♦
There were no aces to be found on the 7♠4♦7♣8♠6♦ runout, and Martinez was sent packing.
Kevin Palmer open-jammed on the button for 525,000 and Andro Scarpa called in the small blind with the covering stack.
Kevin Palmer: A♠5♦
Andro Scarpa: A♣2♠
There was a high possibility of a chop when the cards were tabled, but the board ran out 8♠3♦4♦6♥8♣, with Palmer's kicker remaining in play to earn him the double up.
