Chip Counts
Pierre Mothes raised to 120,000 from under the gun, Brandon Eisen three-bet to 360,000 in the hijack, and Mothes called.
The A♣4♦J♦ flop checked through, as did the 2♣ turn. The river fell the 9♣ and Mothes led out with a bet of 245,000.
Eisen went into the tank, eventually flicking in the call. He mucked his cards when Mothes turned over A♠Q♠ for a pair of aces.
Action went heads-up to a flop of J♣J♦Q♦ in a hand between the under-the-gun Sebastian Mortelmans and Michael Comisso in middle position.
With 390,000 in the middle, Mortelmans bet 70,000 with 8♣7♣ and Comisso called with K♣Q♥. The turn brought the 6♣ and Mortelmans barreled for 180,000 with the flush draw. Comisso called again.
On the K♠ river, Mortelmans slowed down with a check and Comisso bet 305,000 to take down the pot.
Players already had their cards on their backs as Sergiy Alariki was all in and at risk from the cutoff for his last 150,000. He was covered by Chisa Matsutani on the button.
Sergiy Alariki: K♣10♠
Chisa Matsutani: A♥A♠
The Q♣J♦5♠ flop brought in Alariki the open-ended straight draw, but the Q♠ turn and 2♠ didn't complete it, and he hit the rail with around 130 players left, taking home $11,700.
Tyler Gaston raised to 120,000 in the cutoff with K♣10♦ and Trishelle Cannatella defended in the big blind with K♥10♥.
The flop came A♥3♥J♦ and Cannatella check-called a bet of 115,000 from Gaston, bringing the 2♠ turn. Gaston bet 280,000 and Cannatella called again.
On the 4♠ river, Cannatella bet 475,000, prompting Gaston to go into the tank. He eventually flicked in the call and the pot was chopped up.
Matthew Mcewan raised to 120,000 from under the gun before Victor Paredes went all in for 790,000 from the small blind. Mcewan called to put Paredes at risk.
Victor Paredes: A♠J♠
Matthew Mcewan: K♣Q♣
Paredes stayed ahead on the 10♦4♠8♥ flop.
The 3♣ turn was of no consequence, and the 5♠ river was a blank to award Paredes the double-up.
Action went heads-up to a flop of 3♥4♦J♠ in a hand between Kenny Hallaert in the cutoff and Miguel Lopes in the big blind.
Lopes checked with A♠4♠ and Hallaert bet 100,000. Lopes called and the turn landed the 8♣.
Lopes checked and Hallaert elected to check back, bringing the Q♥ river. Both players checked again and Lopes scooped the pot with a pair of fours.
Chun Kwan was in the big blind and got it all in preflop for 460,000 against the under-the-gun Brandon Eisen, who had the covering stack.
Chun Kwan: A♠Q♦
Brandon Eisen: 8♠8♦
Kwan pulled ahead on the A♦5♣9♦ flop, pairing his ace. The 7♥ landed on the turn and the 5♥ fell on the river, earning him the double-up.
Rob Kuhn raised to 100,000 in the hijack holding K♠4♥ and Garry Gurevich three-bet to 240,000 in the cutoff with Q♣J♣.
Kuhn then came over the top with a four-bet to 850,000, prompting Gurevich to think through his decision.
He eventually tossed his cards into the muck and the pot was pushed to Kuhn.
Joseph Baghdalian opened to 125,000 from under the gun before Jared Russell made the call from middle position. Eric Ethans came along for the ride out of the big blind to create a three-handed pot.
The 3♦9♣5♦ flop led to an all-in from Ethans for 1,105,000. Baghdalian called, and Russell also called to put himself at risk for approximately 700,000.
Jared Russell: 10♦9♦
Eric Ethans: J♦6♦
Joseph Baghdalian: Q♥Q♠
Russell had a top pair plus a flush draw, but his flush draw was no good since Ethans had a higher draw. Baghdalian was trying to hold with his queens.
The 2♠ turn was a brick to keep Baghdalian in the lead.
Ethans would find his diamond when the Q♦ peeled to upgrade him to a flush and scoop the pot.
