Chip Counts
Cory Waaland moved all in for 965,000 on the button and Runch Pornraksamanee called in the big blind with the covering stack.
Cory Waaland: A♣8♦
Runch Pornraksamanee: A♥Q♦
The K♣5♠6♦10♦3♠ runout offered no help to Waaland, and he was sent to the rail.
Aaron Gao raised to 160,000 in middle position with A♦K♣, Amin Hosein called in the small blind holding Q♥Q♣, and Dan Hummer called in the big blind with A♥4♣.
The flop came 3♠3♥2♠ and it checked to Gao, who bet 125,000. Hosein and Hummer both called to see the 9♠ turn.
It checked to Gao again and he elected to check back. All three players checked again on the J♥ river and Hosein tabled the winner to scoop the pot.
A series of raises led to Irene Carey wagering 1,175,000 from the big blind. Erik Rozhynskyi responded with an all-in from the cutoff, and Carey called to put herself at risk for 2,525,000.
Irene Carey: 10♦10♥
Erik Rozhynskyi: K♠K♦
Carey was well behind, but the flop came to the rescue when it fanned out 2♠3♥10♠ to give Carey top set.
The 7♠ turn gave Rozhynskyi a flush draw, but the Q♦ was a blank as Carey avoided elimination and won a major pot.
Karim Ghozlani raised to 160,000 on the button with K♠Q♦ and Scott Stewart three-bet to 415,000 with K♥4♦ on the button.
Ghozlani thought for a moment before sending his cards into the muck, and the pot was pushed to Stewart.
Qing Liu shipped it for 875,000 from the small blind and was called by Joshua Rothberg in the big blind to be at risk.
Qing Liu: A♣3♣
Joshua Rothberg: K♥Q♦
Liu held the slight edge, but he fell behind on the 10♣Q♠6♠ flop after Rothberg hit his queen.
The 4♠ turn did not help Liu as he got up from the table in anticipation of expulsion.
The 7♦ sealed the deal as Liu was eliminated.
Boris Kuzmanovic open-jammed on the button for 330,000 and Matt Affleck reshoved in the small blind with the covering stack.
Boris Kuzmanovic: A♠2♥
Matt Affleck: 6♦6♣
Affleck's pair of sixes remained in the lead all the way as the board ran out 10♣2♠8♣9♥K♠.
Rafi Elharar opened to 160,000 from under the gun and David Jackson called from early position. Banipal Babana three-bet to 400,000 from the hijack and Freddy Caisson four-bet to 2,000,000 on the button. Action folded back to Babana who just called, letting Caisson sit with just 85,000 not committed to the pot.
The 5♣9♥5♠ flop checked to the A♥ turn. Babana checked, Caisson jammed for his last 85,000 and Babana called.
Freddy Caisson: A♣K♦
Banipal Babana: A♠K♥
There was no other way to go than a chop pot, and the pair both picked up small from the hand.
