The blinds collided when Bartlomiej Swieboda from the small blind got it in against Pierre Mothes in the big blind with Mothes at risk for 240,000 total.
Pierre Mothes: A♥10♠
Bartlomiej Swieboda: A♣9♥
Mothes was ahead preflop, and the flop made it a distant lead as it came 10♦6♣10♥ to give Mothes trip tens and a near lock on the hand.
The J♠ turn secured Mothes the double-up as a blank hit the river.
Bo Chen limped from the small blind, which led to a raise to 70,000 total from the big blind by Yita Choong. Chen responded with a three-bet to 220,000.
Choong four-bet to 375,000 before Chen five-bet all-in. Choong made the call to put himself at risk for 855,000.
Yita Choong: Q♣Q♥
Bo Chen: Q♠7♠
Choong was well ahead of Chen as he had his opponent's hand dominated.
The flop was ominous as it came 9♦5♣6♦ to give Chen a straight draw.
The straight draw never came in as Choong stayed ahead on the A♦ turn and the 10♠ river to secure the double-up.

Vincent Frigeria open-jammed for his remaining 35,000 in the cutoff, and Ryan Eriquezzo reraised on the button. The blinds folded, and the players were left to go to a heads-up showdown, with Frigeria at risk of elimination.
Vincent Frigeria: 2♣2♥
Ryan Eriquezzo: A♦6♦
The 2♦8♣3♦ flop saw Frigeria pick up a set of deuces, keeping him ahead; he just had to fade a diamond on the turn and river.
A J♠ turn was safe for him, but the K♦ river gave Eriquezzo the flush, and he was eliminated from the tournament halfway through the first level of the day.
Pavlos Xanthopoulos shoved for his final 210,000 from early position and was called by Malo Latinois from the hijack to be at risk.
Pavlos Xanthopoulos: K♥J♥
Malo Latinois: A♦Q♣
Xanthopoulos needed help, and it came on the flop when it fanned out 7♣K♦J♣ to give Xanthopoulos top two pair. Latinois was not down and out, as a ten would give him a straight to take the lead.
The ten never came on the 8♣ turn or the 3♦ river to award the double-up to Xanthopoulos.
Dustin Nelson opened from the cutoff before Franco Tucci re-raised to 120,000 on the button. Nelson made the call.
The 4♣K♦10♥ flop led to a check from Nelson before Tucci continued for 50,000.
Nelson pounced with a check-raise to 400,000. Tucci gave it some consideration before he made the fold to award the pot to Nelson.
Simeon Spasov went all-in on the button for 270,000 total and was called by Bud Gibson from the small blind to be at risk.
Simeon Spasov: 4♠4♣
Bud Gibson: A♦10♥
The flop favored Spasov when it came 6♠3♣7♣ to keep his pocket fours in the lead.
Spasov improved to a straight on the turn when the 5♦ came.
The Q♣ hit the river to complete the board as Spasov secured the double-up early on Day 3.
A number of players have hit the rail within the first few hands of the day, all locking up the minimum cash of $6,000.
In the first hand of the day, Yuki Yasuhara moved all in for his remaining 125,000 from under the gun and was called by Michael Comisso in middle position.
Yuki Yasuhara: K♦Q♥
Michael Comisso: A♦K♣
Yasuhara was behind, and the 5♣4♦8♥ flop didn't change anything for either player.
A J♥ turn and 3♠ river saw Yasuhara's elimination, and he was one of the first players to be knocked out of Day 3.
