Chip Counts
Adam Walton raised to 80,000 on the button and Dan Hummer defended in the big blind.
The flop came 3♥9♦7♠ and Hummer check-called a bet of 85,000, bringing the 10♠ turn, where both players checked.
On the K♦ river, Hummer check-called a bet of 175,000 and Walton tabled K♣6♠ for a pair of kings.
Hummer showed the 7♥ for a pair of sevens before mucking his cards.
Tsz Chau opened to 80,000 from under the gun. Sebastian Mortensen came along with a call on the button and Halford Fairchild joined the fray with a call from the big blind.
Fairchild checked the 9♦K♥4♣ flop. Chau continued for 110,000, which led to a fold from Mortensen. Fairchild check-raised to 420,000 in response. Chau made the call.
The 7♠ turn was checked by Fairchild. Chau opted to go all-in for 1,035,000, which put Fairchild in the tank.
"Will you show if I fold?" asked Fairchild. Eventually, Fairchild made the fold and showed K♦Q♥ for a pair of kings.
"Pick one," said Chau after Fairchild mucked his hand.
Fairchild selected one face-down card, and Chau turned over the K♠.
Sergiy Alariki opened to 80,000 from early position, and Vincent Moscati three-bet to 225,000 from late position. Alariki counted out his remaining 420,000 stack and opted to four-bet shove. Moscati called quickly, and the players flipped their cards.
Sergiy Alariki:A♦A♠
Vincent Moscati: 10♥10♠
Alariki was looking to hold with his pocket aces, and there was little to sweat on the 3♦7♥2♦ flop.
The Q♣ turn and K♥ river were no issue for Alariki, and he stole a good chunk of Moscati's stack.
Action picked up on the flop of K♥6♠5♦ in a hand between the under-the-gun Ronnie Day and Jose Rodriguez in middle position.
With just over 200,000 in the pot, Day check-raised to 140,000 over Rodriguez's bet of 55,000. Rodriguez made the call.
On the 7♦ turn, Day moved all in for 410,000, and Rodriguez thought for a moment before reluctantly giving up his hand.
Ignacio Sole raised to 80,000 from the cutoff and was called by Steven Hinkle in the big blind.
The 7♣3♥8♥ flop led to a pair of checks to bring the 6♣ turn.
Hinkle fired 60,000 on the turn, and Sole called.
The Q♥ river led to a check from Hinkle. Sole staged and pushed forward a bet of 320,000. Hinkle gave it some consideration before he folded as Sole took down the pot without a showdown.
Frank Lagodich raised to 80,000 in late position and Sevag Shirinian defended in the big blind.
The flop came 9♥7♠3♥, Shirinian checked, and Lagodich continued with a bet of 60,000. Shirinian reraised all in for about 250,000 and Lagodich called.
Sevag Shirinian: A♥4♦
Frank Lagodich: A♠7♣
The board ran out 8♠, 5♦, and Lagodich's pair of sevens sent Shirinian packing.
Action folded to Elliot Smith, who opened to 390,000 on the button, leaving himself just 5,000 behind. Edgar Moreno pondered for around 30 seconds before moving all in for 395,000. Once the stacks were confirmed, Smith matched Moreno, and the pair were going to showdown exactly even in chips.
Elliot Smith: A♠2♣
Edgar Moreno: K♣10♠
Smith only had the slight edge preflop, but the Q♥6♥J♠ flop saw Moreno pick up an open-ended straight draw.
The K♥ turn gave Moreno top pair, but Smith also got a step closer to the straight.
Smith ultimately fell short on the A♦ river, as it locked up the Broadway straight for Moreno, and Smith hit the rail in 219th place for $10,100, having just made the pay jump.
A three-way all-in broke out when Sebastian Mortensen opened from early position before Vinny Trann went all-in for 150,000 on the button. Andrey Pateychuk responded with an all-in of his own out of the small blind, and Mortensen called to put himself at risk for 920,000.
Vinny Trann: A♥10♦
Sebastian Mortensen: A♠K♦
Andrey Pateychuk: A♣Q♦
Mortensen had the best of it preflop, and the 7♣4♥2♠ flop did not compromise his standing.
The 4♦ turn presented some chop outs, but they did not come on the 3♥ river to award Mortensen the pot as Trann was eliminated.
