Anton Wins a Huge Pot
Level 30
: Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Alex Anton raised to 400,000 on the button holding 8♣5♣, and Josh Reichard defended his big blind with A♣2♠.
The flop came 5♥A♠7♠, giving Anton bottom pair and Reichard top pair. Reichard checked, Anton continued for 300,000, and Reichard called.
The 5♦ paired the board on the turn, improving Anton to trips. Reichard checked again, Anton bet 1,400,000, and Reichard called.
The 7♦ completed the board, giving Anton a full house. After Reichard checked for a third time, Anton moved all in with an overbet of 6,610,000. Reichard asked for a count before making the call, only to see the bad news as Anton tabled a full house to drag the pot.
