Paster Turns a Full House

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Virgile Turchi limped under the gun and three others joined him after - Mitchell Hynam, David Capon, Thomas Brabham. Brandon Paster in the big blind checked his option leading all five players to the flop.

The flop came J57. After a check from Paster, Turchi fired 60,000. Action folded back to Paster who announced all-in for 160,000. Turchi called taking them to showdown.

Paster had flopped a two-pair but Turchi was hoping to improve with a straight draw. The dealer peeled the J turn, improving Paster to a full house and leaving Turchi way behind. The 2 river was a formality.

Paster scooped the pot for a double leaving Turchi with only 8,000 chips. He was eliminated soon after.

Krzysztof Magott opened to 30,000 from early position before Juha Helppi made the call out of the small blind.

Helppi checked the 22K flop before Magott continued for 20,000. Helppi made the call.

The 3 turn led to another check from Helppi. Magott bet 60,000 in response. Helppi gave it some thought before he folded to yield the pot to Magott.

Sebestyen Flops Two-Pair

With around 200,000 in the pot and a 528 flop, Balint Sebestyen shoved all-in from middle position, and Abhijith Cheruku, his heads-up opponent to his left, called.

Cheruku had pocket aces but Sebestyen caught a two-pair on the flop. The dealer peeled a 7 turn then showed a Q river which didn't give Cheruku any aid at all. There was a slight confusion as to who won at the table but after it was resolved, Cheruku left the table as Sebestyen scooped the massive pot.

Joshua Pedretti opened to 30,000 from early position. Craig Jones responded with a re-raise to 100,000 from the small blind. Pedretti went all-in for approximately 174,000 and was called by Jones to be at risk.

Pfenning Forces a Fold

Eric Pfenning opened with 20,000 from the button and Yin Wu in the big blind called to see a flop.

Flop came Q77. Wu checked and Pfenning bet 15,000. Wu went beyond and made it 55,000. Pfenning called.

On the 4 turn, Wu was carefully deciding how much he would bet as he picked his chips then fired 115,000. Pfenning gave Wu a short stare down before announcing all-in for around 200,000.

Wu conceded his hand and the pot to Pfenning.

Helppi bet 75,000 on the K810 flop before Segura went all-in for 173,000 total. Helppi called to put Segura at risk.

Mehamed Pushes Out Competition

Paul Fisher opened to 26,000 from the hijack. Alan Mehamed called from the cutoff. Diego Romero and Dawson Chen called out of the blinds.

Romero checked the AJQ flop. Chen opted to fire 53,000. Fisher folded, but Mehamed chose to re-raise to 200,000.

Romero and Chen followed with a fold, awarding the pot to Mehamed.
