Yoon Sends James Packing

Level 15

Omaha Hi-Lo

Brian Yoon opened from early position, and Alex James made it three bets to go on the button. Yoon put in another raise, and James called all in.

Alex James: KK106 All in
Brian Yoon: A1054

The 387 flop had Yoon instantly freerolling, only needing to best James' kings for the high portion of the pot. The 2 improved him to a wrap, which he binked on the 4 river to end James' tournament.

No Such Thing as Two Many Outs for McCormick

Level 15

Stud Hi-Lo

Tom McCormick: 75 / 410106 / Xx All in
Christopher Vitch: K7 / K104Q / Xx

McCormick completed left of the bring-in off a short stack, Vitch raised, and McCormick called all-in.

On seventh, Vitch went first and peeled the A, finishing with a lone pair of kings. McCormick had a myriad of outs, needing any heart, any three, any eight, any ten, or any pair to secure the full pot, while a non-heart ace or deuce would give him half. Luckily for him, he found the 8, and he scooped with a straight and a low.

Jobin Doubles Through Smith

Level 15

Seven Card Stud

Action was picked up on fifth street in a pot between Justin Smith and Yannick Jobin.

Yannick Jobin: Q9/QQ9K/A All in
Justin Smith: 76/5453/6

Jobin bet and Smith called on fifth street.

On sixth street, Jobin bet once more and Smith raised to see Jobin click it right back. Smith raised again to put Jobin all in and Jobin called to show Smith he was drawing dead to win.

Queens full was good for Jobin to ascend up the counts while Smith fell to one of the shortest stacks remaining.
