Woods Getting Short

Catching up after the second draw, James Woods was in the cutoff and called a bet from Evan Sandberg, who was in the hijack.

Sandberg stood pat and Woods drew one on the final draw. Neither player bet and Sandberg tabled 8x7x4x3x2x for an eight.

Woods showed he held a nine and mucked — awarding the pot to Sandberg.

Arriving on the final draw, Yu-Tang Wang was already all in, with Anthony Lamps and Ben Sweetman playing on the side. The trio all stood pat, after which Lamps declared he had a nine-eight.

"There's still a round of betting," Sweetman informed him.

Lamps then checked, and Sweetman tossed in a bet. Lamps quickly folded for Sweetman to table 7x5x4x3x2x. Wang's 8x7x6x5x2x was no match, and he was consequently sent to the rail.

Dunn Wins Without Showdown

David Lim opened from the cutoff, with both Tara Dunn and Frederic Moss defending their blinds.

All three players drew two, and action checked to Lim, who threw out a continuation-bet. Both opponents called, and Dunn drew two for a second time.

She then led out after Moss and Lim drew one each, sending Moss into the tank. After some time, he put in the fold, and Lim didn't take too long before doing the same. "I saw three deuces," Dunn told her tablemates. "And I had the other one!" replied Lim.

Goldstein bet again after the draw, and Rodrigues called to the final draw. Goldstein stood par, while Rodrigues changed one card.

Goldstein checked, seeing Rodrigues flick in a quick bet.

"Are you serious?" Goldstein asked. "Well, I can't fold," he then said before he called.

Rodrigues showed 7x5x4x3x2x for the wheel.

"This is the ninth time," a frustrated Goldstein sighed as he was left with less than a small bet.

Meanwhile, at an adjacent table, Terrence Chan lost the last of his chips to Sami Bechahed to be eliminated.

Stann Takes From Wong

Both players stood pat on the final draw and checked. Stann turned over 8x6x5x3x2x for an eighty-six and Wong sent his hand into the muck.

Action was picked up on the second draw, with middle position opener Alexander Rizvi, small blind John Marlowe, and big blind Stephen Hubbard contesting a three-way pot.

Each player drew one, and then action checked through, prompting each player to draw one more card.

After the final draw, Marlowe led out into the other two players. Hubbard folded, but Rizvi made the call. Marlowe showed a nine face up, and Rizvi tabled 8x7x6x4x3x to win the pot.

Stann Sees No Showdown

Alexander Rizvi raised his button and called when Dave Stann put in a third bet from the small blind.

Each player took two cards on the first draw, after which Stann flicked in more chips for a bet. Rizvi called for the second draw, requesting two fresh ones again after he saw Stann draw one card.

Stann quickly tossed in another bet, but Rizvi did not like his chances and folded to concede the pot.
