Le Raises it Up

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Argyle Alejandria raised to 40,000 in middle position, and Samuel Rannou called in the small blind. Duy Le responded with a three-bet from the big blind, making it 105,000 to go.

Alejandria gave it serious consideration, but ultimately chose to fold, and Rannou quickly sent his cards back to the dealer, too.

Le showed the table that he wasn't squeezing light, as he tabled AA before pulling in the pot.

Brandon Sheils
Brandon Sheils

Carleton Tajiri moved all in for 95,000 from the cutoff, and Brandon Sheils called on the button to put him at risk.

Carleton Tajiri: KQ All in
Brandon Sheils: A9

The A79 flop left Tajiri drawing extremely thin, and the 2 turn confirmed his fate.

The K completed the board, giving Tajiri an inconsequential pair before he headed to the rail.

Capitano Folds Out Gasparini, Holveck Colateral Damage

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Franco Gasparini raised to 34,000 from under the gun, which John Capitano called in the cutoff. The action then folded to Philip Holveck in the big blind, who moved all in for 68,000. In an attempt to isolate, Gasparini four-bet to 150,000, but Capitano responded with a five-bet, moving all in for 668,000. Gasparini gave it some thought before choosing to let go of his hand.

The 8109 flop offered Holveck a few extra outs, with the K turn offering him a flush draw to survive.

Alas, the 2 river was a brick, and he headed to the rail.
