Jesse Lonis Eliminated in 10th Place ($122,709)

Level 19
Jesse Lonis
Jesse Lonis

No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw

Jesse Lonis won the first two pots after returning from the break without any major chip changes.

He then faced the open raise to 75,000 by Paul Volpe in the hijack and Phil Ivey three-bet to 250,000 on the button. Lonis in the small blind four-bet to 700,000 with 930,000 behind.

"How much did you start with?" Volpe inquired and Lonis told him he has 930,000 behind. Volpe five-bet to 1,600,000 and Ivey folded, Lonis moved all-in and Volpe asked after the exact count was verified.

Both players patted and Volpe announced a nine-five, showing his 9x5x4x3x2x. That was enough to win the pot and eliminate Lonis, who was pipped with the 9x7x6x4x3x to bow out in 10th place for $122,709.
