Weisman Flops a Set to K.O. Blom

Level 7
Viktor Blom
Viktor Blom

No-Limit Hold'em

Action was picked up on the flop with roughly 70,000 in the pot, the board showing 865 and Viktor Blom all in, with a side pot brewing between Dylan Weisman and Daniel Negreanu.

After the flop Weisman check-called a bet of 16,000 from Negreanu. Both players then checked the Q on the turn, to see the 5 on the river.

Weisman took some time, before announcing 90,000, which got a quick fold from Negreanu. Weisman took the side pot, and the main when he turned over 66 for a full house, sixes full of fives. Blom tossed AK in the muck and left the tournament area.

As Weisman was scooping the pot, Negreanu told the table he had the same hand as Blom.

Wells Hero-Calls Daher to the Rail

Level 7
Robert Wells
Robert Wells

No-Limit Hold'em

The completed board of JJ344 was already dealt when Albert Daher moved his stack of 130,000 into a similar-sized pot from the big blind.

Robert Wells was his opponent, and he was deep in the tank under the gun. Eventually, he assembled calling chips, and after some more thought, dropped them into the middle.

Daher could only show the two pair on the board with Q10. Wells had 66 for a higher two pair, catching Daher's bluff to eliminate him.
