Savarese Rivers a Boat to End Coen's Tournament

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Samuel Coen raised to around 60,000 from middle position and David Savarese jammed for 740,000 from the hijack. Coen made the call and the players flipped their cards.

David Savarese: KJ All in
Samuel Coen: 1010

Coen's pocket tens remained best on the 75Q flop, although Savarese picked up a flush draw when the 5 arrived on the turn.

Savarese made his flush on the 10 river, but it wasn't the club he needed, as Coen improved to a full house to win the pot and eliminate Savarese.

Financially Struggling DoorDash Driver Staked By Poker Vlogger Runs Deep at WSOP

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Corey Eyring
Corey Eyring

Nixon Diaz finished in 26th place for $14,510 at the World Series of Poker (WSOP), in the $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event.

That isn't the story. You probably aren't even familiar with Diaz. After all, he'd never even cashed in a live poker tournament recorded by The Hendon Mob prior to the start of the 2026 WSOP. The story is how he even entered the tournament, and it started via a chance encounter with popular poker vlogger Corey Eyring.

Eyring, who has 187,000 YouTube subscribers, was looking to give $20,000 to two subscribers to play poker at the WSOP. He ordered some food from DoorDash, and the driver told him, "I think I've seen you out playing poker man," and the two shook hands.

Kristen Foxen's Heater Is Even More Remarkable Than You Think

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Kristen Foxen
Kristen Foxen

When Kristen Foxen won the 2026 WSOP $25,000 High Roller, it was her first outright victory in a major nosebleed event. It was also the exclamation point on one of the most sustained periods of elite tournament poker anyone has produced in recent memory.

Since finishing 13th in the 2024 WSOP Main Event for $600,000, the six-time bracelet winner has been making final tables so regularly they might as well reserve her a seat. Few, if any, have come close to matching her record in that time. And with the WSOP just two weeks in, there's no indication she's stopping any time soon.

Four seven-figure scores. Twenty-three final tables. Nearly $11 million in prize money. Almost all of it earned against the best players in the world, in the toughest tournaments.

First Break

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

The 72 players have been sent on the first 15-minute break of the day and will return to blinds at 15,000/30,000 with a 30,000 big blind ante.

Pather's River Bet Does the Job

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Kinesh Pather fired out for 75,000 from the big blind on a board of 89106, and Barbara Sargent put in the call from the hijack.

A 6 completed the board, and Pather fired the same bet of 75,000. Sargent gave it some thought, but ultimately decided the best route was to fold, surrendering the pot to Pather.

Harrell Doubles Through Murphey

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Imre Makranyi raised to 60,000 from middle position and Susan Murphey called from the small blind. Marie Harrell squeezed all in from the big blind for 345,000, which only Murphey called.

Marie Harrell: AQ All in
Susan Murphey: KJ

Both players had a shot at a royal flush with five cards to come, although Harrell held the lead with ace-high.

Neither player connected with the 96963 runout, which meant Harrell's ace-high was enough to earn her a double-up.

Small Win for Warling

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

The action was picked when the flop showed 86J. Mark Warling check-called the bet of 100,000 from Kelley Slay to see the turn 7. Both players checked to see the river 9

For the showdown, Warling decided to throw in a chip of 100,000. Slay gave it a minute and decided to fold, leaving Warling to take the pot.

James and Coen Chop It

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Kenna James raised to 55,000 in late position and Samuel Coen defended in the big blind.

Both players checked on the Q510 flop, bringing the 5 turn, where Coen led out for 80,000. James called and the river fell the 5.

Both players checked and Coen turned over A10. James tabled K10, resulting in a split pot.
