On a 9♠7♠3♠ flop, big blind Eoghan O'Dea checked to David Valden, who had raised from under the gun. Valden bet 260,000 and O'Dea took about two minutes before check-raising to 600,000.

Valden didn't need as long to make his decision, quickly moving all in for around 2,200,000. O'Dea, who barely had him covered, called it off.

Valden was currently ahead with his jacks but O'Dea had all sorts of outs to win the hand. The Q♥ on the turn was safe for Valden, but the 10♠ on the river completed O'Dea's flush to end Valden's run in 25th place.

In frustration, Valden flung his cap across the room, before quickly regaining his composure to congratulate O'Dea.
