Roiter Paid Off by Cowen

Level 10 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Klemens Roiter on the button and Robert Cowen in the big blind had created a bloated pot with 174,000 in the middle going to the river.

With the board reading A5387, Cowen checked to Roiter who bet the pot of 174,000, sending Cowen deep into the tank. Four time extensions later, he slammed calling chips into the middle.

"Straight," Roiter announced, tabling K764 for the rivered second nuts, and he collected one of the largest pots of the day.

Cates Doubles Through Ausmus

Level 10 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Action was picked up on the flop in a pot between four players, including Dan "Jungleman" Cates on the button and Jeremy Ausmus in the hijack.

All players checked the flop of J84 to the 8 turn. Action checked around to Ausmus, who bet 21,000, and only Cates called.

Ausmus burned a time extension before moving all in for 36,000 effective on the 7 river and Cates snap-called.

Dan Cates: K10109 All in
Jeremy Ausmus: AA75

Cates' jack-high straight was good to double up at the expense of Ausmus.

Level 9 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Nick Schulman
Nick Schulman

Pot-Limit Omaha

Biao Ding limped under the gun, and on his left, Joao Simao potted to 14,000. In the small blind, Nick Schulman repotted to 48,000. Ding would then cold-call with 135,000 behind, and Simao called with 130,000 behind.

On the K93 flop, Schulman led all-in for 105,000, Ding called, and Simao folded.

Nick Schulman: AK86 All in
Biao Ding: 8763

Schulman held top pair and the dominating flush draw while Ding had bottom pair. The 5 turn gave Ding a full wrap, but the river was the 2, and the lone pair of kings was enough for the win as Schulman doubled.

Action was picked up on the flop in a multiway limped pot with 21,000 in the middle.

On the 7 turn, action checked around to Katz, who moved all in for 137,000 to see Bromfman fold after some thought.

"You've got a big hand Cary?", asked Rheem.

"I hope so," replied Katz as Rheem continued to debate his decision. After some more thought he tossed his hand away and Katz raked in the pot.

On the J river, Mermelstein led for 18,000. Vieira and Barakat got out of the way, but Schwartz put in the call after some deliberation.

Aaron Mermelstein: 101098

Mermelstein held just blockers to the straight along with his two pair, while Schwartz rivered the king-high straight, and he made the correct call.

Jung Doubles Through Duek

Pot-Limit Omaha

Krasimir Yankov called in middle position and Ian Matakis raised to 14,000 in late position. Chahnhoon Jung called in the cutoff and Michael Duek raised to 64,000 on the button to see only Jung continue in the hand.

The flop rolled out 976 and Jung bet the pot to see Duek move all in. Jung called to put himself at risk for 177,000 total.

Chahnhoon Jung: 7654 All in
Michael Duek: AA105

Nothing changed on the runout of 102, and the sevens and sixes was good for the pot for Jung to survive.

Roiter Shoves on Foxen

Level 9 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Action picked up on a 552 flop as Alex Foxen had bet 10,000 from the hijack, only for Klemens Roiter to check-raise to 30,000 on his left, and Foxen called.

On the 10 turn, Roiter led again for 37,000 and Foxen still stuck around.

The river brought the 8 as Roiter jammed, covering the stack of Foxen who had around 80,000 behind. After three time extensions were tossed into the middle, his cards also went into the middle, conceding the pot to Roiter.
