Kornuth Spars With Bellande

Level 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

With three players calling in front of him, Jean-Robert Bellande raised to 18,500 in the big blind and only Chance Kornuth in the small blind called.

The flop rolled out 943 and Kornuth check-called a bet of 15,000 from Bellande.

Both players checked the turn 7 to the river 3 where Kornuth bet 25,000 and Bellande let out a sigh.

"Do you have aces?" asked Kornuth.

"I have kings," replied Bellande, "but a king of spades blocker."

After some more thought, Bellande called and mucked after seeing Kornuth turn over QJ22 for a jack-high flush.
