Chanda Davis was second to act and opened to 600 before Linna Chu made the call in the cutoff. Elisa Nakagawa joined with a call out of the big blind.

All three players checked the 697 flop to bring the 9 turn. Nakagawa bet 1,000, which led to a fold from Davis, but Chu stuck around with a call.

The J led to a bet of 1,500 from Nakagawa and was called by Chu.

Nakagawa showed K7, which was good as Chu mucked her hand.

Popow Takes the Pot

Maria Benedetto opened to 300 in early position and got Jian Levine on the button to call. Kim Popow in the small blind called and big blind Jazmin Gamonal in the big blind called under pressure from the others, she said.

The flop came 679. Both the blinds checked and Benedetto continued with 800. Only Popow decided to stay to see the next card.

The small blind passed the action to Benedetto, who kept the pressure high with a 2,200 bet. Popow hung on to see the last card.

With action checked to her for a third time, Benedetto fired 8,000. Popow raised to 17,000 which was what Benedetto left behind. She went into the tank, apologizing to the other women for taking so long. Ultimately, Benedetto conceded her hand and the pot to Popow.

'Ruthless' On a Roll

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Ruth Hall won a few hands in a row and took the pot down a third time, and is earning her nickname of 'Ruthless'. Marissa Hirakawa raised to 400 from under the gun, Carla Zaiontz called from early position, Hall three-bet to 2,200, and stated, "Warning ladies." April Floyd called from the small blind, and Hirawaka called, while Zaiontz folded.

The flop came out with 569 and the two early position players checked to the preflop raiser, Hall, who bet 6,000. Everyone folded, and Hall turned over AA.

Kincaid Doubles Through Campbell

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Patricia Campbell raised to 700 from early position. Rhonda Kincaid called from middle position, and Kimberly Acton came along with a call from the cutoff.

The flop of 73A led to a bet of 1,500 from Campbell. Kincaid raised to 4,000, which led to a fold from Acton. Campbell three bet to 9,000 before Kincaid went all-in for 19,100. Campbell called to put Kincaid at risk.

Campbell had top pair top kicker, but it was no good as Kincaid flopped aces up to take the lead.

Campbell was unable to improve on the 10 turn and the 9 river to award the pot to Kincaid.

Albee Flushes Hoechstetter's Set

Tracy Albee opened to 300 in early position and was reraised by Amy Hoechstetter in cutoff to 1,500. Albee called to see a flop.

The flop came 3210. Albee check-called Hoechstetter's 1,200 bet.

The same thing happened on the 9 turn with Albee check-calling her opponent's 2,000 bet.

Finally, Albee fired 4,000 on the river J. Hoechstetter called. Albee showed [Q8 for a flush. Hoechstetter mucked face up showing 99 for a set.

The 4A9 led to a bet of 400 from Cunningham before Dai called.

Cunningham checked the 7 turn, which led to a bet of 700 from Dai. Cunningham called.

Dai bet 1,300 after it was checked to her on the 9 river. Cunningham flicked in the call to find out the bad news as Dai showed J9 for trip nines.

Christina Coviello limped from the cutoff before Katie Berens raised to 600 on the button. Melissa King three-bet to 1,600 from the small blind, which prompted a fold from Coviello.

Berens called to bring the flop of JQ9.

Both players checked the flop, leading to the 9 turn. Berens checked before King bet 2,000. Berens called.

The 3 hit the river before Berens put out a bet of 1,000. King called to go to a showdown.

Berens showed A10 for a missed straight. Ace high was not enough as King showed 1010 to claim the pot.
