Loubna Aggoun raised to 1,000 from early position and was called in two spots by Veronica Velez from middle position and Cinthia Escobar from the cutoff.
Aggoun continued for 3,000 on the 2♦5♦10♥ flop, which was called by Velez. Escobar folded.
Aggoun checked the J♣ turn before Velez bet 2,000. Aggoun called.
The A♦ river led to a check from Aggoun. Velez wagered 5,000, and Aggoun flicked in the call.
Aggoun showed A♥10♦ for two pair, but it was no good as Velez tabled Q♦J♦ for a rivered flush to take down the pot.
At another table, Shiina Okamoto entered the tournament with a fresh stack of 20,000.
Shiina Okamoto was seen exiting the tournament area, having been eliminated by Salima Dhanani just prior.
As recounted by players at the table, Dhanani held 9x2x against Okamoto's 7x6x on a board of 2x6x9x7x when both players got all in on the turn.
The 10x river kept Dhanani's higher two pair best and Okamoto was eliminated.
The defending champion can still reenter, if she chooses, as late registration will remain open until the start of Level 9.
Action was picked up with Shannon Willman, at risk, and Alice Sicconi in an all-in showdown.

Sicconi's was in the lead on the 10♠6♥3♦ flop. Willman's outs increased when the 2♥ turn dropped, giving her a bit of hope for a straight draw.
The 10♥ dropped on the river dashing Willman's hope, sending her to hit the rails.
Heads-up play was already underway with 6,000 in the pot when the flop dropped Q♦9♥J♥. Samantha Abernathy fired 2,200 prompting Sandrine Phan to shove all-in for around 20,000. Even before she could push her chips in, Abernathy snap-called.

Both women just smiled when they saw exactly the same hand hit top pair on the flop. The dealer completed the board with an 8♦ turn and a K♥ river.
The dealer proceeded to split the pot between the two players.
Rachel Windzberg opened to 1,000 from early position. Amy Wingate opted to three-bet to 3,000 from the cutoff. Windzberg shoved for 18,500 and was called by Wingate to be at risk.

Windzberg needed help to escape the better pair of Wingate, but it did not arrive on the 7♦5♥A♥6♣3♠ runout to eliminate Windzberg.
Mari Morelli opened to 1,500 on the button, and Jamie Vera defended her big blind.
The 9♠Q♠10♦ flop led to a bet of 4,000 from Vera, and Morelli called.
Vera slowed down with a check on the 8♥ turn. Morelli opted to jam for her remaining 16,900. Vera folded as Morelli took down the pot.
Li Xu opened to 1,000 from the hijack and was called by Christine Asuncion on the button and Maria Konnikova in the big blind for a three-way pot.
Action checekd to Xu, who continued for 1,200 on the 4♥Q♠J♥ flop. Both Konnikova and Asuncion called.
The 3♦ fell on the turn and it was again checked to Xu, who bet. Asunicion and Konnikova quickly let their hands go and Xu revealed Q♥Q♣ for top set before collecting the pot.
