Thomas Boivin limped in on the button with 5♥2♣, and Dario Sammartino checked his option with 10♦5♦ in the big blind.
Sammartino check-called a bet of 10,000 on the 5♠4♣3♣ flop, and the action checked through on the 2♠ turn.
The A♣ river put a straight on the board, and Sammartino led out for 80,000, double the pot size. A composed Boivin took some time before responding, but when he did act, it was for all of it as he moved all in for 268,000. Sammartino did consider his options, but elected to fold what would have been a chop.
Faraz Jaka jammed from the button and Stoyan Madanzhiev made the call for his stack of 107,000 from the big blind.
Stoyan Madanzhiev: 4♠4♦
Faraz Jaka: K♠6♦
Madanzhiev was flipping for his tournament life with pocket fours against the two overs of Jaka.
Jaka took a huge lead on the K♣A♦A♠ flop by pairing his king. The rest of the board came 2♣9♠, and Jaka advanced to the next round.

Thomas Boivin raised to 16,000 on the button, and Dario Sammartino called in the big blind.
The action checked through on the 5♦9♣4♦ flop, tempting Sammartino to lead out for 14,000 on the 7♠ turn, which Boivin called.
Sammartino continued for 48,000 on the K♠ river, but was met with an all-in for 258,000 from Boivin. Sammartino took his time in deciding what to do, ultimately calling. It was bad news, though, as Boivin showed K♥4♣ for two pair, besting the K♦8♠ of Sammartino.
With A♠3♦, Nikolai Mamut called on the button and Doug Polk checked his option hold K♣9♦ in the big blind.
Polk checked on the 3♠K♦10♠ flop and Mamut bet 8,000. Polk check-raised to 24,000, which Mamut called.
The 5♦ hit the turn and Polk bet 64,000. Mamut folded his hand.
With 16,000 in the pot, Nikolai Mamut checked from the big blind on the 8♣K♥J♠ flop and Doug Polk bet 8,000 from the button. Mamut called.
A 2♣ appeared on the turn, and Mamut checked for a second time. Polk fired a second barrel of 24,000, and Mamut continued via a call.
The A♥ completed the board, resulting in a final check from Mamut. Polk jammed, and Mamut snap-called for his stack of 89,400.
Polk showed K♣7♣ for a pair of sevens, and lost the pot to Mamut's A♣5♣ for a rivered pair of aces.
Shota Nakanishi limped in on the button, and Phil Ivey moved all in for 192,000. Nakanishi took a moment to deliberate before calling.
Phil Ivey: A♠8♣
Shota Nakanishi: 3♥3♣
There was no immediate help for Ivey on the 7♠Q♥10♠ flop, but the J♠ turn increased his outs significantly.
Alas, it was a case of 'too many outs', as the J♥ river ended the match, with Nakanishi advancing.
Phil Ivey raised to 22,000 from the button and Shota Nakanishi called out of the big blind.
On the 9♦2♥3♠ flop, Nakanishi check-called a bet of 15,000 from Ivey.
A 6♣ turn checked through and the 7♠ rolled off on the river. Nakanishi bet 25,000, which Ivey called.
Nakanishi showed 6♦5♠ for a pair of sixs to win the pot as Ivey mcuked A♦10♠ for ace-high.
