Soon after losing the previous all-in showdown with Toby Joyce, Jesse Lonis also doubled Ian Matakis and the latter then tried to finish the job he started.

Lonis was all-in for only 70,000 and Matakis raised the pot to 430,000. There was brief confusion as Raj Vohra was still in the hand and then folded while Matakis said "sorry, I didn't see your limp," before they proceeded with the showdown.

Jesse Lonis: KQ97 All in
Ian Matakis: AJ102

The 8546J runout gave Lonis a straight and he survived for the time being.

In a multi-way limped pot that started with Karel Mokry from under the gun, the flop showed Q97 and Martin Zamani bet for Mokry to call. The K turn saw Mokry bet 255,000 and Zamani call before Mokry bet another 385,000 on the J river, forcing out Zamani.

One hand later, Toby Joyce limped in and Jesse Lonis made it 270,000 to go on the button. Joyce then raised to 900,000 and Lonis called after some consideration. On a flop of KJ8, Joyce pushed all in for 1,745,000 and Lonis eventually called.

Jesse Lonis: J1073

The 2 turn gave Lonis even more outs with the flush draw but he bricked the 2 river to lose a big portion of his stack.
